Spring is finally here in the Poconos, which means it’s time to get outside and enjoy everything this beautiful season has to offer! The fresh air, the bright colors, the perfect temps—it’s the best time to explore. One of our favorite things to do? Hitting the trails! Whether it’s the stunning Boulder Field or the not-so-scary (despite the name) Shades of Death, there’s a hike for everyone. Whether you're a total newbie or a seasoned pro, there are plenty of trails to help you soak up the spring vibes and reconnect with nature.

Another must-do? Chasing waterfalls! With the snow melting and rivers flowing stronger, the waterfalls in the Poconos are at their most breathtaking right now. If you’re looking for an easy, kid-friendly spot, check out the Austin T. Blakeslee area, which is our kids' favorite casual hike! For something more iconic, you can’t go wrong with Bushkill Falls. And if you’re up for a little exploring, there are tons of hidden gems tucked away in the woods. No matter where you go, bring your camera—these views are too good not to capture!

Spring also means it’s time for all the other fun outdoor adventures—zip-lining, kayaking, horseback riding, you name it! If you’re up for an adrenaline rush, zip-lining through the treetops is an absolute blast. Plus, if you book through us, you can buy tickets for all of these activities in advance through Prefer something a little more chill? Kayaking on the peaceful lakes and rivers is the way to go. We have kayaks available at Sycamore Camp and a stand-up paddleboard at Foxfire Haus, check them out now! Whatever you’re into, the Poconos has plenty of ways to make the most of this awesome season!
